Cirqus Voltaire Reimagined Begins Shipping; Brand New Pinball Horror Movie - DEMON QUEEN PINBALL MACHINE
By knapparcade
Happy Daylight Savings Day everyone. I'm using my extra hour to share an update about the new American Pinball and its first game Cirqus Voltaire Reimagined. American announced yesterday that they have received final licensor approval of the game from Planetary Pinball and that the first New in Box units are shipping out to distributors. Now that production has officially begin, AP is targeting April 2027 for production completion of the 772 Ringmaster Edition games. Once they all have shipped, production will start on Classic Edition machines, likely in May 2027. A few Classic Edition machines will be built prior to May for select locations and tournaments. Several of the Cirqus Voltaires will be available for the public to play at the Houston Arcade Expo and the Dutch Pinball Open in the Netherlands, both of which take place from November 13th through the 15th.
I've picked up bits and pieces about a new pinball horror movie that was in the works in my search for news to share over the past several months and then boom all of a sudden it was out, just in time for Halloween. And its free to watch. "DEMON QUEEN PINBALL MACHINE 🎥 A Possessed Arcade Game Unleashes Hell" is available in all its glory right now on YouTube. I have embedded it below. Let me know what you think. Derrick and Max are two broke video-store owners looking to make some extra cash when they accept what should be an easy delivery job: transport a vintage pinball machine to a mysterious customer. There’s just one problem. The pinball machine is possessed. Unbeknownst to the pair, a vicious revenge spirit is attached to the game. Along the way they cross paths with occult specialist River, who becomes caught in the machine’s supernatural influence. Once the pinball machine reaches its destination and the game is activated, all hell breaks loose as the Demon Queen emerges to collect what she believes she is owed. DEMON QUEEN PINBALL MACHINE mixes retro arcade nostalgia, supernatural horror, practical-effects mayhem, and bloody comedy. Writer/director Joe Davison has described the movie as having two sides: Derrick, Max and River provide the comedy, while Eddie and the Demon Queen bring the violence — with the two worlds eventually colliding in an explosion of comedy and death. Written and directed by Joe Davison, the film stars Davison alongside Francesco S. Viola, Renee Daw, Elissa Dowling as the Demon Queen, Mike Ferguson, Paul Wilson, Jay Bogdanowitsch, Austin Janowsky and more. The movie was shot entirely in Tampa, Florida, and celebrated its theatrical world premiere at the historic Tampa Theatre on October 29, 2026, as part of its A Nightmare on Franklin Street Halloween programming. 🌎 NOW — JUST TWO NIGHTS AFTER ITS THEATRICAL WORLD PREMIERE — DEMON QUEEN PINBALL MACHINE MAKES ITS WORLDWIDE DIGITAL PREMIERE ON KINGS OF HORROR!
