A big celebration of pinball is coming up for Australians, the Newcastle Pinball Association’s 2022 Pinfest. Scheduled to begin on 9/17, I assume that the two This is Spinal Tap pinball machines that Homepin shipped to the show for its official launch are there already. This likely means that it’s only matter of time before we begin to see pictures and video of the game, especially given the time difference between where I am in the Eastern US and down under. It’s almost 9/16 already there.
According to what I’ve been told, the Australian distributor Highway Games will show photos and videos of Spinal Tap as well as production schedules, prices and dates at the show. The US distributor for the game, PinballSTAR amusements, will likely share details soon as well. I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for more info and share it here when it’s out.
