The rumors giveth and the rumors taketh away 😂. Jersey Jack Pinball did have to make some unexpected adjustments to the art on Harry Potter that caused it to be a little delayed (at least so I hear), BUT things appear to be headed in the right direction.
The latest word that I got a few minutes ago is that the project is back on track, that we should get a teaser fairly soon and the big promo video in a week or two. Games will be on the line before the big reveal so that Jersey Jack can hit the ground running.
I’ll admit it, I'm stumped on this one. I think that there was truth to the delays but they were not nearly as long as some people expected. I give up on trying to guess when we will see the game. I can’t wait to see it, this is the biggest IP that we’ve seen in pinball in a long time.

Why 1,000, when it could be 934? This would be a bit more clever on their part...
The real behind the scenes truth is JJP learned from preorders, that a smaller percentage want HP than they originally thought. Priced at such an incredibly high MSRP of $15k, plus tax, plus shipping, few want to lose big in the secondary. So they decided to limit it, to try to create some demand that’s not really there to begin with. 1,000 HP CE games at $15k is a scary high price in this economy. Few to no one in this market want to pay such an exhorbant price, only to see its value lose 30% to 40% or more in the secondary.
I was initially extremely happy when I heard they were not limiting the number of CEs, allowing the market to determine how many it wanted, allowing everyone that wanted one to get one. For a popular title like this, selling over 1000 CEs is almost a given. Limiting a popular title means the flippers will be hoarding them, increasing the price even more, and preventing many people that want the CE from obtaining one. Both Jersey Jack loses and the pinball enthusiast loses.
So they did NOT deny the CE limited to 1000?
