Yesterday, American Pinball announced that it is going to build 100 units of a new "Classic" Edition of its Galactic Tank Force pinball machine in 2025. The new Classic version of the game will have an MSRP of $7,995, which is $1,000 less than the previous lowest trim level of the game, the "Deluxe" Edition. To reach that price point, American Pinball is removing the following Deluxe Edition features: Magic Glass, inner art blades, its Aura Lighting system, the knocker and supposedly the PCB that controls the robot and UFO movement in the game.
The distributor Pinball Traders is bringing a number of American Pinball machines to the upcoming Texas Pinball Festival (TPF), which takes place from March 21st through the 23rd, including Hot Wheels, Houdini, Legends of Valhalla, Barry O's BBQ Challenge and Galactic Tank Force. It is providing discounts on both New in Box and floor games, ranging from $500 off NIB machines and $1,000 - $5,000 off games that are set up at the show.
There was no word from the company or rumors that I have heard about whether its next game, Cuphead will make an appearance at TPF.

I love GTF, but you can get a used DE for 7k...
This news is unsurpising to me, as I imagine there is demand for this game. I think this game is WAY better than it gets credit for. Same with Barry O's BBQ.
