IAAPA's European amusement trade show is happening this week in Vienna. There was several interesting new games exhibited at the event. Earlier today, the arcade news website Arcade Heroes published an article that provides a great overview of what is happening at the show.
To me, one of the more interesting appearances was by Bitronic Spain. The Company brought its Super Hoop pinball machine, which it has been fairly quiet about in recent months. I literally was looking at Bitronic's website the other day trying to figure out what the deal is with Super Hoop. As far as I can tell, the pin is currently being produced and is available for sale on Bitronic's site for €4,950.00.
Bitronic also brought a brand new pinball-esque head-to-head game called Pin Shot.
The European pinball and arcade distributor Genna Group which runs Mr. Arcade EU debuted its brand new Ice Cold Beer-like game "Oktoberfest" at the event (pictures below).
The new machine Oktoberfest a remake of Ice Cold Beer has been improved on skills and output modes aside points also thermal printer, tickets, ball dispenser and connected to a vending dispenser can deliver real beverage cans or bottle l beer, redbull, Munster, coca-cola, .... up to 180pcs.
Bandai Namco showed off a new air hockey table called "Pac-Man Pinger." Some of you may recall that I wrote about this and a number of other newish Pac-Man Trademarks in an article here a month or two ago. Pac-Man Pinger (air hockey) slides into Bandai Namco's arcade lineup alongside Pac-Man Roller (Skee-Ball) and Pac-Man Baller (Pop-A-Shot).
Sega brought a new pachinko-like redemption game to the event called Ballzania.
Those are just a few of the highlights from the show that caught my eye. For awesome, full coverage of the IAAPA Europe event make sure to check out Arcade Heroes' great article:
