Happy Friday everyone! I wasn't going to share another picture or video of King Kong on the production line at Stern Pinball, we've had a bunch of those lately, but there's something different on the line there this week so it made the cut.
This week's Stern Factory Friday video featured James Bond Pro. Man, now I'm in the mood to play some Bond. I haven't had an opportunity to play one in months. I feel like all I've been doing is going to high school lacrosse tournaments with my son for weeks lol. Maybe I'll try to sneak in a trip to the World Famous Rock Fantasy arcade next week.
"The day is Friday, Factory Friday. And we're doing a run of James Bond 007 Pinball!
Of all the James Bond films, which is your favorite? #FactoryFriday"

Speaking of Stern Pinball, today - June 20th, is the official 50th anniversary of the 1975 film JAWS. Some people thought that we might see the rumored Stern 50th Anniversary JAWS Premium pinball machine today. Despite the fact that today is the actual anniversary day, based on what I've heard I thought that it was a little early for us to see anything.
We have not gotten any sort of JAWS Anniversary teaser yet. I've been told that we will see the game in late June or early July. We'll see. I am seriously considering getting one for myself.

If you're in the Atlanta, Georgia area this weekend, make sure to stop by this year's Southern Fried Gaming Expo (SFGE). The event takes place from June 20th through the 22nd at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
SFGE will mark the first show appearance of Jersey Jack's new game Harry Potter. Designer Eric Meunier is going to give a presentation titled "Unlock the Magic: Inside Jersey Jack’s Harry Potter Pinball" at the event.
The show has tons of other arcade, pinball, video game and RPG presentations, a zillion games on free play, vendors and all sorts of other cool stuff in its massive 150,000 square feet space.

Game of the Day:
A rare 1978 Gremlin “Frogs” 🐸 upright arcade game.
The graphics of frogs and bugs in the game are projected on the back of the cabinet using a mirror against a monitor that lies flat in the bottom.
In the game, the player makes the frogs jump from lily pad to lily pad trying to catch bugs with its tongue.
Gremlin, which was based in California, was acquired by SEGA in 1978. Frogs was the first game released after the acquisition. It was distributed in Japan as a SEGA game.
As seen in a private collection.
