Dutch Pinball Exclusive Alice Topper Delay & Shipping Schedule; Harry Potter on Location; A Clearer Look at Predator; Game of the Day

Dutch Pinball Exclusive (DPX) recently informed customers who ordered its first game, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, that it has experienced supplier-related delays with the game's topper, which comes included with every machine. Issues with quality, quantity and timing forced DPX to switch suppliers for the topper, resulting in further delays.

A sample of the topper from the new supplier is en route to Dutch Pinball now. If it is approved, production will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks. In response to this, DPX has decided to ship its first batch of Alices to the United States without the topper, which it will ship to customers at a later date.

A batch of nineteen machines (pictured below) is all boxed up and ready to ship to the United States by the end of the week. The remaining six games of the twenty-five are in the factory's final testing area and will be air-shipped to the U.S. next week.

We have another Harry Potter pinball machine on location that I thought you would want to know about. This weekend, Saturday June 14th and Sunday June 15th, PinballSTAR Amusements is placing a Collector's Edition game on location at the arcade bar Bartari in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Bartari will also be hosting a Harry Potter Launch Party for the game at a later date.

I actually wrote an article about Bartari here on this website back in 2021. It's a fantastic place. Definitely a must visit for anyone within driving distance. Alas, a couple of the pictures in my article are missing as I accidentally blew a bunch out when the storage on this Wix site was full. Ahhh, the learning curve of creating your own website lol. Most of the pics and all of the information is still there. I've included the link below for those who want to check it out.

2021 FALL ARCADE ROAD TRIP STOP 1: BARTARI - SCRANTON, PA

Yesterday was the 38th Anniversary of the Film Predatos's release in movie theaters. Pinball Brothers celebrated by sharing the clearest picture yet of the game's cabinet. As a reminder, the game's full release is next Wednesday, June 18th.

Richard Chaves, the actor who played the character Poncho in the 1987 Film, actually commented on a social media post by Pinball Brothers about the upcoming game asking the following:

rchaves.official: Does Dutch's original rescue team make an appearance?
pinballbrothers: OH LEGEND! Thanks for reaching out! And yes, Dutch's original team is armed and ready !!!

The mystery as to whether Arnold Schwarzenegger is in the game continues lol. I'm still leaning towards him not being in it, but we won't know for sure until next week. Clearly Mr. Chaves is not doing callouts for the game because he doesn't know anything about it. My guess is that they used voice actors.

Game of the Day

Here's a very rare 1984 Bally Midnight Marauders gun arcade game.

This game is a unique combination of mechanical targets with digital scoring. It never made it into mass production. Likely less than 100 of them were made and less than that remain today.

As seen in a private collection.
