This morning I am proud to present the World debut of the brand new pinball machine Road Trip by Ramp's Pinball Manufacturing.
For the past year, I have been writing about the debut pinball machine from Bob Nies and the team at TiltBob Pinball, Road Trip. Today I have pictures of the game and announcing that it will make its World Debut at this week’s Pinball at the Beach show in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
The pictures are below. Later this week I will have gameplay video. Road Trip will go through extensive testing with early code at the show this week.
The game features the following:
A Dynamic Playfield where players hit a target to change the physical game flow.
A Drain-Save pop up VUK
4 Flippers
Multiple Ramps
4 Pop Bumpers
A Car Bash Toy
Rotating Raccoon
3 “Cow Tippin’ Bash Targets
2 Mechanical Ball Locks
An Animated Dinosaur
Playfield Screen that acts as Navigation and a Car Radio
The ability for players to load their own songs onto the game’s 8 radio stations. The game also comes already loaded with many songs from upcoming artists.
Invisaglass
Knocker
Shaker Motor
Custom Powder Coating
Ramp's Pinball is bringing the game to the Texas Pinball Festival in mid-March. Machines are currently scheduled to go on sale in April.
Pricing for the game has not yet been officially announced. Road Trip production is limited to 500 units. The Company is not taking deposits. Machines will be built and shipped to customers when they pay.
I can’t wait for everyone to see what the Ramp's Pinball folks have been up to. You're going to be blown away by the whole operation, from the facility to future plans.
Below are links to the new Ramp's Pinball website and the site for the Pinball at the Beach show.

Didnt seem to shoot well at pinabll at tge beach. Carey had a stream and the ball would not make it up the center ramp
Upper left of the playfield looks like a major clunkfest. The ramp looks like it wanted to be in between the upper flipper and right flipper angle -- and instead it looks like you're gonna get a world of ramp posts and balls that hit mechs and come back down unsafely. If the far left shot from Foo Fighters is accessible from right flipper, that could help, and it does have the drops to make up for lack of shots from the right flipper. That said, does not look like an easy game to flow on, nor does it look like a professionally finished machine worthy of commercial distribution. Honest feedback - the company will not be able to manufacture these…
Needs more lights
I am pretty interested in this and very curious about the price. If the price is solid I might take a shot on it
Built... Then shipped when people pay? Or built/shipped after people pay? Not sure how much will stomach paying full up front for one to be made given the recent history with Haggis and others.
