I recently came across a really cool video that tells the history of the 1984 Cinematronics sequel to Dragon's Lair, Space Ace. Even though I'm terrible at the Cinematronics games, I've always been mesmerized by their amazing Don Bluth animation. I remember these games absolutely gobbling up my quarters in arcades back in the day.
I own all of the popular Cinematronics laser disc games on my Nintendo Switch and play them from time to time (see below). I think that ports of them are available on most devices these days. The tiny arcade cabinet manufacturer Replicade is coming out with a little Space Ace soon as well (see below).
