Jersey Jack Has Cancelled Scheduled Appearance at Northwest Pinball & Arcade Show; Harry Potter Likely to Make Public Debut at Southern Fried Gaming Expo

Late last week I shared the presentation schedule for the Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show in an article here. The schedule showed that Eric Meunier and his team from Jersey Jack Pinball were scheduled to give a presentation on the Company's newest game Harry Potter there on Saturday June 7th at 12:30 PM.

Unfortunately, JJP’s has cancelled its appearance and the new game will no longer be at the show.

This leaves the Southern Fried Gaming Expo, which takes place in Atlanta, Georgia from June 20th through the 22nd as the likely public debut of Harry Potter pinball, as least as far as shows go. It’s possible that the game could show up at certain arcades before then.

and I caught the rebound....

NWPAS Saturday 12:30 - 1:30pm David Thiel - "You Can Hear What You Can't See"  The Magical Sounds of Harry Potter Pinball

This will be live streamed at 12:30 (PT).

I will be sharing music, sound effect and callouts from JJP's Harry Potter Pinball.

So far, none of the marketing videos have played anything from the pin (except for three mixed down fanfares), so this will be your first opportunity to hear the real thing.

Yeah I've heard good things about that show. I need to go one of these years.

Bummer, I was hoping to hear Eric Menier (sp?) talk about some of the other games, e.g. Avatar, even if not about HP. Last year, JJP had zero presence at this convention and guess it will be the same again.

I doubt any of it impacts sales much, but it's funny to see JJP continue to fumble the launch of this game.

How is that a fumble? It's good they dont have it there 2 days after launch, because it will ne a bunch of potato cam footage and you won't hear the game well.
