Fans of the iconic 1984 "Rockumentary" This is Spinal Tap, will be happy to hear that parts for Homepin's upcoming pinball machine based on the movie have been steadily streaming into the company's factory. Pinball Monk (who sells great parts and mods up on his site https://pinmonk.com/) recently shared pictures of a bunch of the Spinal Tap parts up on Pinside. Looking at the parts, it appears as though the armor and lockbar for the pin will be purple with metallic flakes, the apron will be black, the game has only eight plastics and the legs will be chrome.
Homepin has received a lot of criticism over the years for its lackluster first pin Thunderbirds and the behavior of the company's owner, but it's nice to see this sort of transparency in the manufacturing process.
