A couple of weeks ago Pedretti Gaming announced that it has been selected by Planetary Pinball to manufacturer certain classic Bally Williams pinball machines. A week or two after that announcement, the Pedretti folks changed the cover photo of its Facebook page to a picture of a 1992 Williams Fish Tales pinball machine. This naturally lead to some speculation that Fish Tales might be the company's soon-to-be-announced first remake game (mostly by me lol).
Well, the folks at Pedretti Gaming are at it again :). Minutes ago, they changed the cover photo for their Facebook page to the image below. It shows the beautiful playfield and unique neon tube of the classic 1997 Bally pinball machine Cirqus Voltaire.
So which remake is up first...Fish Tales, Cirqus Voltaire or something else? We shouldn't have long to wait to find out. I expect an official announcement as to what is coming in the next month or two.
In terms of value on the open market and collectability, I personally think that Cirqus Voltaire is probably a better choice for a first remake than Fish Tales but I'd be happy with either. I just want to see more pinball out there, so bring it on!
Please don't be CV...yet. Because I'd still need another couple of years to save up for that one! My favorite table of all time.
TZ was also shown in the first photo with FT so with that said, exciting times ahead for sure.
These fetch good price on secondary market, wonder what Pedretti would price CV at and would they offer various trim levels like CGC.
Game is fun but it creeps me right the heck out! No way I’m bringing that in my house!
