Pinball Brothers Shares a Glimpse of the Playfield and a Mech for Upcoming Predator Pinball Machine!

Good morning everyone. Let’s start the day off with a bang. Early this morning Pinball Brothers, the European manufacturer of pinball machines including Alien, Queen and ABBA unexpectedly shared a teaser for its upcoming pinball machine based on the 1987 film Predator.
In the teaser, we see someone reading issue #408 of DC Comics’ Sgt. Rock comic. Why is this significant? In the movie, the character Rick Hawkins is reading that exact comic book. So clearly this teaser is another hint that the Company’s next game is based upon Predator.
That’s not the best part of that teaser though. While the reader is flipping through the pages, we can see the actual playfield for the new game in the background! Yes, it’s the underside of the playfield but still…awesome!
I’m sure that the pinball world will analyze this better than I can while still lying in bed this morning lol, but one thing I do see that stands out is that circular mech at the bottom. That resembles a mech that Pinball Brothers shared a video of on its Facebook page back on April 23rd.
Also, on May 9th, Pinball Brothers shared a neat picture of a bunch of wire forms on its Facebook. At the time I wasn’t sure what game they were for, but at this point I suspect that they may have been Predator parts as well.
Pinball Brothers shared a slightly different version of this post on its LinkedIn page this morning too. It had a longer message:
“When you're designing a truly immersive action pinball game, you need to know the story by heart. Not just the classic one-liners and famous scenes, but the total feeling of the world you're building, all the little moments and details that made people run to the movies in the first place. It's ultimately the little things that create something bigger than life. Isn't it? Just as someone smart once said: detals matter.”
It’s fun to start off the day with a little pinball excitement. I have included the videos and pictures of all of the Predator teasers below. Let the analysis begin!
