Predator is a Widebody Pinball Machine; King Kong Pro Gameplay Video; Memorial Day Pinball Sale; FIRE!

This morning we woke up to an exciting teaser for Pinball Brothers' upcoming Predator pinball machine. We even got a look at the underside of the playfield.

I spoke with the folks at Pinball Brothers a little while ago and they told me that the release date for the game is set and it is "pretty soon." They also shared this image with me. I suspect that means that Predator is a widebody pin (Update: I confirmed that it is). I know that some people don't like wide body games as much as standard body ones, but I personally love wide bodies. I'm thrilled to hear that we're getting one in today's market where so few manufacturers make them any more.

Late yesterday, Stern Pinball shared an official gameplay video of its newest game King Kong: Myth of Terror Island, featuring the latest code. If you haven't had a chance to check out the Pro model yet (I personally have only played the Premium) check out the video below to see the difference.

King Kongs are beginning to show up on location. The Chicago-area arcade bar Enterrium shared a picture of theirs set up on the floor earlier today.

American Pinball recently announced that it is holding one of its regular holiday sales. I've seen an ad for it on both Mad Pinball's and PinballSTAR Amusements' Facebook pages over the past couple of days. The sale discounts are as follows:

Legends of Valhalla Limited: $2,000 Off to $5,995

Barry O's BBQ Challenge Classic: $500 Off to $6,495

Hot Wheels Classic: $500 Off to $6,895

Galactic Tank Force Signature Edition: $7,000 Off to $7,995

If you're in the market for a Galactic Tank Force Signature, you would be better off buying one of the New In Box machines that the game's designers Paul Reno and Dennis Nordman were given. They have "several" of them for sale up on Pinside for $7,000.

I have to say, a new Legends of Valhalla for under $6K is actually a really good value in today's pinball world.

I leave you with this amazing video of the modified 1987 Williams Fire! pinball machine, created by Greg Creech. He brings to the Golden State Pinball Festival every year. Thing is AMAZING! Kudos.

I can confirm that GSPF was epic per usual, especially the after show shenanigans. This year we had a triple Tiltallica set up, care of Shannon and friends, an epic couple Stall Balls (that my partner won probably the biggest one of the night), a super bumping dance party care of Lynn’s arcade (with Sante Adarius on tap), and an excellent Pingolf tour through all the different campsites.

this was all after the show closed for the evening at 10/11pm and was in the adjoining camping area.
