Most Stern Pinball James Bond Pros for Regular Consumers Won't Be Produced Until April 2023

This morning I listened to the latest episode of The Pinball Show Podcast, starring Zach Meny and Dennis Kriesel. The majority of this episode naturally was about Stern Pinball's latest and greatest title, James Bond. During the show, Zach shared some very interesting information on the production schedule for the game. The current production schedule for Stern James Bond is as follows...

Second Week of November - James Bond Pro Machines - Locations get first dibs

End of November - James Bond Limited Edition

Early to Mid-December - James Bond Premium

Late December - James Bond 60th Anniversary Game (aka the Elwin version)

April 2023 - James Bond Pro for Non-Locations & second run of James Bond Premium

Initially I wrote in this post that there wouldn't be any consumer machines available in the initial Pro run of James Bond, but after speaking with George Gomez and another distributor I'm hearing conflicting information on the subject. Locations will have first crack at the initial run of James Bond Pros for sure but some are saying that there may be a few Pros available for the general public after that. Home collectors who are considering buying a James Bond Pro and cannot get in on the initial allocation will have to wait until April 2023 be able to get the game. Well, at least I'll have plenty of time to play it on location to decide for sure whether I want one before then LOL.

Here's the rest of the production schedule for Stern's other games...

This Week - Star Wars Premium

This Week - Guardians of the Galaxy Pro

First Week of October - Led Zeppelin Premium

First Week of October - New additional run of Godzilla Premium

3rd & 4th Weeks of October - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

1st & 2nd Week of November - Star Wars Home Edition, Movie & Comic Edition

End of November - Jurassic Park Home Edition

The scheduled production run of Elvira's House of Horrors has been pushed back until 2023, hopefully sometime during Q1, but that is not guaranteed. Elvira will have a price increase.
