Here's an unexpected new product from Stern Pinball. Stern has put a new "Expression Light Topper" up on its website. Priced at $399, this topper appears to be a less expensive, more generic product that Stern plans to sell as an alternative to its more expensive toppers, which range from $700 to $2,000.
Stern currently has two different versions of the Expression Light Topper up on its site, one that was specifically made for its Star Wars pinball machine and a generic one that just says "Stern Pinball."Both variants appear to have expression light strips on the front that will interact with the game.
Another interesting thing about this product is that Stern specifically mentions "Spike Three" in its description. This is the first time that I recall ever seeing Stern officially mention Spike 3 anywhere in print.
"Turn up the excitement on your Stern Spike Two and Three pinball machine with our new Expression Light Topper."

This afternoon, Pinball Brothers shared more pictures of its upcoming Predator pinball machine. These pics focus on the iconic machine gun from the film, known as "Old Painless."
"If you're heading into a dense, unforgiving jungle and someone says, “Do you really need a Gatling gun? The answer is always yes. Yes, you do. #M134 #thepredator #olpainless #jesseventura #schwarzenegger @rchaves.official"

We aren't going to get a Dragon's Lair pinball machine like we all were hoping a couple of years ago, but it does look like we are going to get a movie based upon the famous 1983 Don Bluth animated Cinematronics arcade game.
Actor Ryan Reynolds is producing a film based on the series for Netflix. James Bobin, the director of numerous films, including The Muppets and Muppets Most Wanted is in talks to direct the movie.

The game was, at one point in the early 1980s, the most popular arcade game in America.
I wrote all about Euro Pinball Corp., the joint venture between Pinball Brothers and Pedretti Gaming yesterday. This morning Pedretti shared pictures of that factory. Specifically, they showed a ton of its FunHouse Remake in box and ready to ship out.
"🎪🎟 NEWS! 🎪🎟
The sun is shining at the start of this summer, and a new container is heading to America... what more could we ask for?! 🇺🇸
More and more pinball machines are popping up all over the world – and that's exactly what we love:
bringing joy and fun through our games! 🎉
Because in the end, it’s all about one thing:
Pinball passion.

One piece of flat plastic, with a sticker on it and $5 worth of LEDs??? Still charging $399??? Stern do we have stupid written on our faces or something? You think we’re going to suck into your continued fleecing debacle??? What a joke Stern has become. Pathetic!
Whoever is designing the toppers over at Stern should be ashamed of themselves, I feel sorry for everyone who buys these pieces of crap at least it's funny for us players when we see STAR WARS right above STAR WARS hahahaha
LMAO their regular toppers should be 399. What a joke.
Interesting that you got the screen shots to the Expression Light toppers from Stern. As of Tuesday 6/24 at 4:30 PM PDT, it seems that all mention of Expression Light Toppers has been removed. Your link goes to a 404, and search just gives all the already released toppers.
