As I mentioned here last week, Stern Pinball officially unveiled a new Black & White 70th Anniversary edition of its popular 2021 Keith Elwin-designed pinball machine Godzilla.
The new game will be a Premium Edition and have an MSRP of $9,699. It features special foil greyscale decals on the cabinet, greyscale toys on the playfield and special anniversary backglass artwork.
In conjunction with the launch of this new model of the game, Stern is providing a code update for all Godzilla owners. The update includes "The King of the Monsters Challenge," which can now be accessed through the game mode menu. The Challenge has its own high score table.
Stern is expected to show off the new Black & White Godzilla at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con later this month.
UPDATE: According to the distributor Mad Pinball, the new Black & White Godzilla goes on the production line at Stern next week.

Looks absolutely terrific. Now I just need a bigger house and I'm all set. 🤣
I think I'd like it if it were in color and in English!
Wow, how about a big F-U to topper owners? I agree with others that they should have added co-op instead. I don't get the appeal of these B&W jobs, but to each their own. I imagine some people now have a B&W bank of Munsters, Elvira and Godzilla.
That looks terrible. Much worse than mocked up images we’ve been seeing for the last year.
