This morning I talked about what games are next from Stern Pinball and Jersey Jack. One company that has been firing on all cylinders lately but hasn't been talked about quite as much is Spooky Pinball. Spooky's last game Evil Dead was such a huge hit that it is already completely sold out.
To put in perspective just how hot Spooky's Evil Dead pin was, I shared two posts about it on Facebook while waiting in line to play it at the recent Pintastic New England show in Marlborough, Massachusetts, one regular post and one reel on the Knapp Arcade Facebook page. Collectively, those posts received an astonishing 2.24 Million views! Now, I'd like to take some credit for that lol, but it just goes to show how absolutely amazed people are with this game when they see it. I'll fully admit that it blew my expectations for sales away.
Spooky is going to be busy cranking out all of the Evil Deads that it sold for the rest of 2025, but...we should get a look at Spooky's next game sometime late this fall. As a point of reference, Spooky officially unveiled Evil Dead on November 21st, 2024.
So we should see something new from Spooky in November. The question is what? That next game is either one of the worst kept secrets in the industry or one seriously tricky diversion. I'm guessing that it's the former and that Spooky's late 2025 reveal will be Beetlejuice as many people have been saying.
Beyond Beetlejuice, which I expect to have a bigger production run than Evil Dead's 888 units, I wouldn't be surprised to see Spooky do a small run of the homebrew Motorhead pinball machine that it helped the New Zealand pinhead David Peck with. The Motorhead game made quite a splash when it was brought to the 2024 Texas Pinball Festival and I have heard rumors that a small run of it will be made. We'll see.
As far as what other themes Spooky has lined up for down the road, I know that they have several locked up. I've heard that one of the newer one licenses that they have obtained is the 1984 movie The Gremlins.
So that's the latest on Spooky. I'm thrilled to see such great people succeeding at their passion.

The control system is built around a crown with an inset push-button, and two additional chronograph-pusher-esque buttons above link and below. The top button shuffles through the various color themes for the watch face you've chosen and the lower button acts as a dedicated, single-app shortcut button. This may seem a link parsimonious use of a button, but given the fact that there is no app library, you don't have link a ton of choices to worry about when assigning it anyway.
The Brunito eSteel is an interesting new addition to the Panerai portfolio, adding a more crafted and artisanal offer to what's traditionally been a masculine, sporty brand. Meanwhile, the more wearable 45mm size should also extend its appeal beyond link a niche crowd. It should be noted that Brunito also makes its way onto other 45mm Radiomir novelties this year, link and link the finish really exudes a wonderful play of light.
Awesome on your Evil Dead reach. That's a beautiful photo of you playing at Pintastic. Your photographer is excellent. Did you win the game?
The slingshot flipper is a unique touch.
I thought CGC and Mark Ritchie were on Gremlins (or maybe that was the Spooky-CGC collab game that fell through) but either way I'm happy to see it.
Please be Gremlins!!!! PLEASE!!!
