Last night at the Texas Pinball Festival, Chicago Gaming Company conducted a seminar called “Completing Cactus Canyon.” I was going to do a bullet point notes article for it like I did for the earlier Mirco TOTAN 2.0 presentation, but in all honestly the CGC presentation was so much more impressive and detailed that my article would have gone on for a thousand pages.
Yes, there has been delays with the Cactus Canyon Remake, but Chicago Gaming has used that time very wisely. The attention to detail and incredible number of improvements that the Company has made to this game are truly astonishing. Of all the games out there right now, I am probably the most impressed with Cactus Canyon. I’m absolutely blown away by it.
One interesting tidbit that I picked up from the presentation that I did not know previously is that the new upcoming expanded code for the game that Lyman Sheats working on was always intended to be a “Kit” that is going to come with a hardware component. I don’t know what exactly that will be but I was pleasantly surprised by this.
Here’s a few screenshots that I took of the presentation. As I said there was way too much to it to repeat here. I encourage everyone to use the link below to check it out if you haven’t seen it yet. It was very impressive.
