Happy Friday everyone! It's been a huge couple of weeks in the pinball industry with the releases of Stern Pinball's King Kong, Barrels of Fun's Dune and now Jersey Jack Pinball's Harry Potter. The only remaining game that we are waiting to see if Pinball Brother's next...Predator. We've seen several teasers for Predator, but we still don't have a specific release date for it yet.
Since it's Friday, that means that we get our regular look behind the curtain at Stern Pinball. Not surprisingly, King Kong is still on the production line. I have embedded videos and pictures of it below.

Whoa, that was faster than I expected. According to a post by the distributor MAD Pinball, the first Harry Potter Collector's Edition game is now on location at Finney's Arcade and Parlor in Canton, Ohio. If you're one of the lucky folks who lives in that area, get over there and pop some quarters in it!
Someone even filmed the game there in action and uploaded it to YouTube already. I've embedded that and a few pictures of it below.
Update: The awesome speakeasy-esque arcade On Tilt that resides in the back of the tasty Korean BBQ restaurant Ayce Gogi in Van Nuys, California just announced that Harry Potter is there and ready to go as well. Below is a video that they shared of it in action.

Last up, I'm going to delve into the arcade world. One of, if not my favorite video game development studio in the World is Digital Eclipse. The now Atari-owned company has developed amazing compilations of classic arcade games, including The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, Atari 50th Anniversary Celebration and Tetris Forever. Not only are these massive collections of some of the best games ever made, but they contain tons of historical documents, videos and interviews. They're a work of art to someone like me who loves the hobby.
This week they announced that they are working on another huge classic arcade compilation the - Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection. Due out later in 2025, this collection is going to contain a ton of classic console and arcade games including Mortal Kombat 1 through 4, obscure versions of the game and tons of design documents and interviews. The trailer looks amazing. I can't embed it in the article like I usually do because the trademark gore from the Mortal Kombat games requires age verification to see lol, but below is a link.
