Good morning everyone. I have a couple of news items for us while we wait to see what the new JAWS Anniversary Edition pinball machine looks like at noon.
Let’s start things off with a fun online pinball tournament that I have put together with the folks at the pinball app Pinquest.
Pinquest is a cool app that lets pinball players compete in monthly tournaments for real prizes, virtual badges and things like that. They relaunched a couple of months ago with all sorts of cool new features.
Let’s start with the prizes first :). In July we are running a tournament based on the games in the actual Knapp basement arcade.
Starting 7/3, enter the League on the Pinquest App and play the games in the event. The top 25 players and 25 more at random will win a special edition Knapp Arcade enamel Pin. One participant will be randomly selected and win a Knapp Arcade Swag package.
Players sign up in the PINQUEST app by tapping "Find a Location" > "View Quests" under the Knapp Arcade Guest Takeover > League > Then "Sign Up". All entries are eligible for the random draw prizes, even without score submissions in the league.
A new "drop in" session will be posted each week with 4 games to record a score on. Players can play the weekly games anytime, anywhere (even at home) during the 7 day open window.
This month Pinquest is also running a score challenge on Stern Pinball’s Dungeons & Dragons and has special challenges with badges for beating my personal Grand Champion scores on Jurassic Park, Game of Thrones or Star Trek.
I’m going to hop on to my games and put up some scores on Pinquest after work tomorrow. It looks like a fun way for us to have some competition.

Yesterday we got a Dune production update from Barrels of Fun. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they have already produced 100 machines. Congratulations to the Barrels folks!
They also continue to roll out new code and modes for the game, such as the Prophecy mode that they showed off in a stream on IE Pinball last week.
Just spotted game 100 is on the line.
We don’t mark these with banners or balloons. We do it with purple sticky notes and a whole lot of heart.
One hundred games. Built by hand, fueled by late nights, weird ideas, and way too much caffeine. Every single one of them taught us something. Every single one helped get us here.
If you're reading this, you've probably been part of that journey, whether you flipped one ball or flipped out over a full machine. Thank you.
Now let’s wire this one up and make it sing.

Yesterday Spooky Pinball issued a “Last Call” to owners of its latest game Evil Dead to pre-order its amazing official topper. I can’t imagine owning this game without one of these things. It’s incredible…and this is coming from someone who doesn’t have the ceiling clearance in his home arcade for toppers lol. I’d buy one and put it under the game if I had to.
Here’s something to keep an eye out for in the future…during a recent stream Spooky said that they are having the same person who created the Evil Dead topper create the topper for their next pinball machine, due out late this year. Not only that, but they said that everyone who has seen the next topper thinks that it’s even BETTER than this one! That’s hard to imagine. I can’t wait to see it.
🚨TIME IS RUNNING OUT 🚨
Today is your LAST CHANCE to place your order for the Evil Dead Cheryl topper! The spookiest and grooviest topper in pinball history is about to become unavailable for pre-order!
You WILL regret not having this topper for your game, don't miss out!

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote here about a new line of stand-alone mall arcades that Chuck E Cheese has been testing across the country. Yesterday, they began officially promoting it with a video on their Facebook page.
Chuck E Cheese will always have a special place in my heart. I can remember playing Burgertime 🍔 there at kids’ birthday parties when I was a child and have fond memories of hosting birthday parties for my two boys at one when they were little (pictures below). The little kids in those pictures are 20 and 16 years-old today. Time flies…
🕹️👾 Introducing Chuck’s Arcade, a new arcade-only experience from Chuck E. Cheese! No pizza. Just pure arcade fun for grown-up kids! https://chucksarcade.fun/

The spooky site still offers the topper for evil dead a week later. I’m confused
Food sensitivity testing is another tool in smart nutrition. Identifying reactions to gluten, lactose, or specific additives https://ezzday.com/ can help individuals avoid discomfort and inflammation. Personalized elimination diets, guided by data, lead to improved digestion and reduced symptoms.
Will we see jjp ticket redemption pins? I know they were working in them.
