Well, that was fast. Wonderland Amusements officially launched its Kickstarter page for its planned sub-$1,000 home use pinball machine, Alice Goes to Wonderland earlier today. The campaign reached its $100,000 initial fundraising goal in an astonishing two minutes.
As of 2:00 PM Eastern time on March 10th, the project has 325 backers for $334,733 raised and counting. The "White Rabbit" Early Bird special that offered the machine at a 20% discount of $799 has fully sold out the allotted 200 spots.
I will continue to keep an eye on the project. It will be very interesting to see how much money they can raise.

So far they are doing exactly what they said they would do. They are having to sub $1,000 3/4 scale pinball machine. + They're promising to have it for Christmas time delivery. Maybe they will actually have one ready for the Chicago expo. Good for them.
I ordered TWO of them for TNT Amusements.
