Fell in love with arcade and pinball machines at the age of 7 in 1981. Was lucky enough to have an arcade across the street from my childhood home, and I lived in there for a decade. My love for the arcade made me also fall in love with home gaming consoles, starting with my Atari 2600.

In 2002 I bought my first home and in the first few days, before I had a TV, bed or anything else in the house, I had purchased a Super Chexx (Bubble Hockey) and Dragon's Lair machine, which was my holy grail.

From there I couldn't stop. I kept buying and selling full-sized arcade machines and pinballs and when I came across Arcade1Up in 2019, I started buying many of their games, simply because I could fit more in my basement retrocade.

Now, I have mix of full-sized arcade and pinball machines as well as Arcade1Up machines, over 30 machines total. I also collect all of the New Wave Toys Replicade arcade cabinets and have begun collecting Numskull Quarter Arcades cabinets. I'm also still playing games on my home consoles (old and new) - I hemorrhage money 😂

I wanted to start a YouTube channel back on 2019 because I love the arcade community, but my work schedule didn't allow for it. I have now scaled back hours on my regular job to try and do a YouTube channel, which I plan to launch soon at: https://www.youtube.com/@RichieCavsRetrocade

Hope to hear from anyon
