Additional Details on Pinball Brothers' Upcoming ABBA Pinball Machine

This afternoon I have a few additional details on Pinball Brothers' upcoming pinball machine, courtesy of a recent article in the Swedish newspaper Nerikes Allehanda.

Pinball Brothers is releasing two versions of the game, a Limited Edition - which is limited to 500 units, and a regular version which does not have an official production limit.

The initial idea for an ABBA pinball machine supposedly came directly from the band itself several years ago. The driving force behind the project was Ludvig Andersson, son of the ABBA band member Benny Andersson, who is a pinball fan.

As mentioned here last week, the ABBA pin will contain 20 of the band's songs. Some of the material in the game comes from the band's London performance Abba Voyage and has never been officially released before.

Pinball Brothers is holding a launch event for the game on April 6th at 18:00 local time - which happens to be the 50th anniversary of the date that ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest.

According to the flyer pictured in your previous article, there will be three versions. One regular, one limited (500 units) and one collectors edition (300 units).

I believe ABBA performance captured 3 additonal songs that aren't currently in the set list 'Take A Chance On Me', 'Super Trouper' and 'Money Money Money'. Could this be the exclusive content I wonder ?

Shame Queen was not a hit and had so many issues. Hopefully they can do a better job this time around, especially with a band that’s popular, but is not Queen.

They better sell ABBA competitively like they did with Alien Ripley Edition in order to get any interest from me. And the artwork teased for the backglass is a huge worry. It will be compared to EJ.
