Checking in from my cabin in the middle of the woods (satellite Internet is a game changer) to report some interesting news from the world of pinball. Some of you may recall that ten days ago a Pinside member solved the final mysterious puzzle that showed up on the website of the defunct pinball company Deeproot.
The solving of the puzzle triggered the start of a countdown on the site that Is scheduled to end in five minutes. And according to what I’m hearing, it’s some more than a plain hoax.
The timing of this announcement is a little tricky for me, because I am about to go on a hike with my family. I’ll report back late tonight if there’s any other news on this subject and will be back from vacation soon with my regular updates.
