This afternoon Don from Don's Pinball Podcast went Live from the TWIPY factory tour of Barrels of Fun Pinball in Texas.
While we didn't get the hint about the Company's next game that I had hoped for when I wrote about the event several days ago, we did get some great information. Barrels has between 100 and 150 Labyrinths left to make at manufacture, which should take them round six weeks or so to complete. The Company has decided to cap production of Labyrinth at 1,004 games out of its originally stated max of 1,100.
As I mentioned in my article earlier this week, Barrels of Fun had the people who attended his tour sign NDAs aka Non-Disclosure Agreements stating that they will not reveal what they saw in the part of the tour that was behind closed doors. According to Don, Barrels did show off a new pinball machine to people who took the tour, but it was not the next game. No one has told me anything about what secret was shown yet (but if you've heard, let's talk Shhhhhhh lol).
We have Labyrinth and love it. We are hoping if Beetlejuice gets made, it's by them and not Spooky. lol
