Just when you thought that it was safe to go back into the water, er um arcade, a picture is starting to develop about when Stern Pinball is going to officially reveal its most anticipated pinball machine in ages.
After weeks of speculation about the game's reveal date, I'm hearing that Stern will unveil the Master Keith Elwin's JAWS pinball to the world in "very early January." Most likely we'll at least get some sort of teaser or trailer for the game several days before it's public debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 9th.
To me, the timing of this launch couldn't be more perfect. Stern distributors can spend the end of 2023 selling their improved stock of Stranger Things Premiums and Godzillas and then the Company can hit the ground running in 2024 with JAWS pinball machines in boxes and ready to go. If this game was ready for immediate delivery upon reveal, I have a feeling that it will create a feeding frenzy of buyers.
2024 is shaping up to be another epic year for the pinball hobby. I can't wait to see what it has in store for all of us. Thanks to everyone who has stopped by the Knapp Arcade website and Facebook page in 2023. Talking about the hobby with all of you has been a blast.
