A couple of weeks ago, Multimorphic teased a new pinball module that is being designed by Scott Danesi (designer of the Total Nuclear Annihilation and Rick and Morty pinball machines) for its P3 platform. Initially it was believed that the game was an original theme called "Project Carbon," but it appears as though the new model is actually called "Final Resistance!"
Minutes ago the company released a second teaser video for the upcoming game, the company's sixth module for its system...and we get to see the whole shebang right off the bat, music, animations, gameplay clips, cabinet art. Boom.
Production of Final Resistance! is scheduled to begin in May of this year, after all of the remaining modules of the company's previous release Weird Al's Museum of Natural Hilarity have been built. Final Resistance will cost $3,400. Multimorphic will begin taking $500 non-refundable deposits for pre-orders of the game on Thursday, March 9th at 9:00 AM CST.
Multimorphic will conduct a livestream of the game being played on Friday March 17th at 7:00 PM CST. It will most likely make its first public appearance at Multimorphic's home show, the Texas Pinball Festival, which takes place in Frisco, Texas from March 24-26. The Company's official seminar at the show is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
At first glance, this game looks super cool. I've never seen so many new pinball releases in over such a short period of time in all of the years that I have been following the hobby. What a time to be a fan of pinball.

Final Resistance delivers fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping gameplay with a wide variety of flowing shots and interactive toys. Music from creative director, Scott Danesi, artwork from Jonathan Bergeron, rules by Bowen Kerins, software and light shows by Michael Ocean, and graphics by Rory Cernuda combine to immerse you into the story of the game, a battle against the powerful invaders! While continuing to leverage the unrivaled innovations of the P3 Platform, Final Resistance also uses the playfield display to deliver a mostly traditional pinball experience, resulting in another unique P3 game and an excellent addition to everybody's P3 game library. We're planning a livestream of gameplay for Friday, March 17 at 7:00pm Central Time. Also, just to be clear, Final Resistance production is planned such that all outstanding Weird Al's Museum of Natural Hilarity game kits ordered by existing P3 owners will ship before Final Resistance kits do."
Sounds almost identical to TNA (similar music and sounds, similar voice for the callouts) and playfield is awfully barren. Definitely not a pin i'd love to own.
